LAWYERS / AMY COOPER

Amy Cooper practices in the areas of civil and commercial litigation. Amy assists organizational and individual clients to resolve a broad range of disputes arising in the course of their business, including all manner of contractual, property, and shareholder disputes. Amy also has experience representing clients in employment, professional negligence, and construction matters. Amy represents her clients in proceedings before all levels of court in Alberta, in arbitration proceedings and dispute resolution processes.
Amy obtained her law degree from the University of Calgary (L.L.B. 2009) and holds a joint degree in economics and geography from the University of Toronto (B.A. 2004). Following law school, Amy articled as a law clerk to the Honourable Justice Hunt at the Alberta Court of Appeal, and completed her articles at a national firm where she worked for several years before joining TingleMerrett LLP. Amy is fluent in French and conversant in Spanish.
Outside the office Amy spends as much time as she can with her family and in the community, keeping up with her sons, and enjoying the outdoors.
