Jeffrey Helper is a partner at TingleMerrett LLP practicing in the areas of corporate securities, corporate finance and corporate transactional law for emerging, growth and mid-cap companies, with a particular emphasis on those listed or planning to list on the TSX Venture Exchange.
Jeff acts for a number of private and public companies and has extensive experience in assisting his clients with debt and equity financings, private and public corporate acquisitions, share and asset acquisitions and dispositions, amalgamations, restructurings, reorganizations and other corporate business transactions. He also has experience assisting companies in a variety of cross border transactions (both acquisitions and financings). His clients reflect various industries and include oil and gas, mining, technology, real estate, manufacturing and industrial issuers.
Jeff received a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin in 1992, a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Western Ontario in 1996 and was called to the Alberta bar in 1997. Jeff is a member of the Law Society of Alberta, the Canadian Bar Association (Business and Securities Law Subsections) and the Calgary Bar Association.
